Manistique Lighthouse
We took a leisurely ride south on Route 94, continuing through Hiawatha National Forest, until we stopped in Manistique at the waters edge of Lake Michigan.
Way off in the distance was Manistique East Breakwater Lighthouse.
Latitude: 45.94476
Longitude: -86.24766
"Come on, we have some walking to do again."
The water is so calm inside the breakwall; it makes for an impressive picture.
The fish flies were horrible. You had to keep swatting the air around your face to keep from ingesting them.
We made it - now we have to walk back - it's good to keep the blood flowing while at the destination stops.
