ACADIA NATIONAL PARK,MAINE

   After leaving Bar Harbor we went to Acadia to find a campsite so we could spend a couple of days exploring the area.
   We stayed at the Seawall Campground.

                                         We rode the forest roads in the area.


                                 Then we stretched our legs and hiked a trail.

              
 Kennys feet were hurting from the Sidi Adventure rain boots.

 
                        Scotts feet were doing fine in the GTX Infinity boots.

               These 3 pictures are taken from the top of Cadillac Mountain which is 1,530 feet above sea level and the tallest mountain along the Eastern coast of the United States.

MAINE,BAR HARBOR

     After camping for the night in New Hampshire,we rode out in the morning and within a few miles we were in Maine. (2012)

 
                              We stopped in Bethal, Maine for Breakfast.

Then we took a few shortcuts down some back roads and ended up on this rocky ORV route.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

NEW HAMPSHIRE,MOUNT WASHINGTON

    We arrived here with 10 minutes to spare before the gates closed.We were glad to make it up on the bikes because Scott had been here a few times before but was not allowed to ride up due to weather conditions. (2012)














 
 
 
 

VERMONT

    Here are some pictures from taking the Ferry from Port Kent,NY to Burlington,Vermont on Lake Champlain.The weather was fantastic and I really enjoyed the experience.
